Oakwood Church
The school benefits from close links with Oakwood Church on Springwood Road. This is a united congregation of Roundhay St. John's Church of England and Roundhay Methodist Church. They have signed a covenant to grow together in faith and to serve the community. They have been fully united in worship and serving the community since 1st December 2013.
Worship of Oakwood Church varies from lively, when all the children join in for parade services on the second Sunday each month, to quiet and contemplative in the evening, especially at a healing communion service.
They aim to cater for all spiritual needs through the Sunday services, Junior Church, midweek worship and house groups, not forgetting the messy church event for children and families once a month.
The churches have a wide range of social activities for all ages, from the uniformed organisations to Women's Meeting, Men's Fellowship, Luncheon Club and the Walkers.
The church runs two toddler groups for children under school age and their parents and carers, to which we are always pleased to welcome new people:
Tuesday Toddler Group 9.45am-11.30am
Friday Toddler Group from 10.15am
