Online safety
Being ‘online’ is now an integral part of children’s wider lives; not just their learning. It is an exciting and powerful tool yet it isn’t uncommon for adults to feel as if children know more than they do!
It is vitally important that we provide children with a safe on line environment but, recognising that the on line world is constantly evolving, give them the skills and understanding they need to keep themselves safe both now and in the future.
Our school aims to have robust processes in place to ensure the online safety of both pupils and adults; to deliver an effective approach to online safety, which empowers us to protect and educate the whole school community in its use of technology; to establish clear mechanisms to identify, intervene and escalate any incident, where appropriate.
Please take time to read our full Online Policy which outlines expectations of children, parents and staff.
